LEARNING SHOULD BE FUN
The primary objective of our school is to help your child develop a positive attitude toward him/herself and toward everything associated with learning. Each child is gently guided into learning what he/she can do to accept him/herself and to take pride in and derive satisfaction from personal achievements. We want to build a creative foundation for a lifetime of learning. Characteristics such as self-confidence, independence, curiosity, persistence, initiative, and the ability to concentrate and organize will be developed.
Our school is interested in promoting and developing positive social skills. Building trusting relationships with peers and adults is very important. Our staff is aware of this. Our program is designed to meet the needs of each age level.
Teachers/Caregivers
All our classroom teachers/caregivers have passed background checks and have been fingerprinted through the FBI database. Staff is also continually taking various training to be the best caregivers possible in their age groups. All staff have been trained on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Brain Development and Child Abuse and Neglect, and First Aid.
Practical Learning
Children are not born with social skills! We work hard in all our classrooms to help our children be able to cooperate and play with others in their space. We have set rules in the classrooms and stick to a schedule to help the children learn routines and know what to expect next.
